On Mac, a translucent full-screen overlay appears on every display. On iPhone, Screen Time shields your selected apps and categories. On Android, an overlay covers selected apps when you open them.
Enter your passcode for the grace period you chose (five minutes by default). The boundary returns when grace expires. You can also turn SleepGuard off. It’s a reminder you choose, not a lock you can’t escape.
Yes. A window like 23:30 to 08:00 runs through midnight and ends the next morning. Each device uses its local time. Settings are local to each device; they don’t sync.
SleepGuard has no analytics or cloud account. iPhone app selection is managed by Apple’s Screen Time system. Android uses Usage Access on your device to detect when a selected app is in front. Your passcode is stored as a hash.
The Mac download is a local preview build, signed for testing and not yet notarized by Apple. Public Mac and phone releases are coming after signing, device testing, and store review. Purchase and store buttons are placeholders until launch.
SleepGuard helps you follow a screen-time boundary you set. It isn’t a sleep tracker or a medical treatment, and it makes no promises about sleep outcomes. It simply helps make stopping a little easier.
TOMORROW STARTS TONIGHT.
